Creating a Lyme Free World takes vision, hard-work and committed volunteers.
Volunteering at TFL is also both fun and rewarding.
Thousands of volunteers of all ages support TFL each year. Different volunteers
bring unique skill sets to our organization. A great volunteer is well-trained
within his/her skill set, hard-working, cooperative, respectful, enthusiastic, and
totally dependable.
Fran Herzog has been one of TFL’s greatest volunteers. As a founding member
of TFL, she has given countless hours over the years to the service of others in
the Lyme community. Fran has helped TFL advance its mission to eradicate
Lyme and other tick borne diseases and create a Lyme Free World.

Dear Fran:
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write today on behalf of us all to say thank
you! We will not say goodbye, because we plan on seeing you as often as you
will allow.
Fran, you have personally played a KEY role in the journey TFL has taken these
past 10 years. Your financial skills, sound judgment, and dedication have
helped grow this organization and its leadership are grateful.
TFL and the Lyme community at large owe you a great deal of thanks for all that
you have done throughout the years. Thank you Fran! You will truly be missed!
