Greenwich, Connecticut

The goal of the Greenwich Lyme Disease Support Group is to provide support and information to families affected by Lyme and other tick-borne illness. We meet at 7pm on the first Thursday of each month (except in July and August) at Greenwich Town Hall. Each meeting features an invited guest speaker followed by an open support group session. Guest speakers are expert on specific topics of concern to Lyme patients, ranging from the nuances of diagnostic testing in the doctor’s office, to nutritional support at home. The open portion of the meeting provides an opportunity for members to support one another with shared resources, experiences and concerns revolving around the complexities of living with Lyme disease.

The support group is moderated by Angela LaManna, MSW, LCSW a Lyme literate therapist who recognizes the special needs of people suffering from chronic illness due to tick borne diseases.
